I bought three portable baskets of a different brand (and half the price) about three months ago to set up a "home course" on our 10 acres. Having decided that A) we really love playing in the "back yard" and B) we would like more targets to rotate through and C) we wanted to up the quality of our baskets we bought two of these Innova DisCatcher Sport baskets. After a week of near-daily use here are our thoughts:
1. Twice the price bought us 3x the quality. These are heavier than the other brand, but still portable, And they feel like they will last for a much longer time.
2. More chains = fewer discs blowing through the baskets. There is no inner row, but the outer row is packed and the chains are closer than "usual", so we haven't blown through yet like we do fairly often with the other brand.
3. With screws instead of pins, these baskets will be harder to take apart, pack, and set back up. However, for our purposes we want to move them around the yard, not drive them to the park, so the extra rigidity actually makes it easier and more portable for what we do.
4. They make a lovely ching when you hit the chains and pole with your disc. Maybe even a better sound than the "real" baskets we're used to. It doesn't do anything except make you feel great about a good shot, but it adds to the fun.
We'll be in the market for a couple more baskets in six moths or so (when we save up some cash and clear some more land up). These baskets will be at the top of our list of options when we go shopping again.
Comments on the purchase experience:
- Ordered on a Sunday, received the basket by UPS on Friday night
- One of the baskets had some damage (from the plant, not the shipper). I sent out an email on that same Friday night asking what to do about it and the seller CALLED and emailed me the next day on Saturday morning! Innova is making good on the damaged part and sending a replacement piece. We're quite satisfied.

This is one of my favorites on temp courses. They are built right and are one of the easiest for moving around. Well built and a lot like the permanent basket that it mocks. I would definitely regimens this one for beginners to putt at.

Love this basket and it sure has made me a better putter.Easy to move around the back yard, and just as easy to break down and take to all are cookouts and outings.

When I first bought this basket I was a little disappointed with the fact that it only has one row of chains. After a couple of weeks in the backyard and practicing a minimal amount, I realized that if you can make putts on this basket you can make them on ANY basket. The one row of chains will teach you the sweet-spot on any basket.

I have this basket in my back yard and I absolutely love it. It is easy to take apart and can easily fit in a small trunk for transport to and from a park or tossing location. I often carry it to different locations within the complex that I live in and it isn't very heavy or difficult to move. The only issue I could have is that it doesn't have inner chains, but I guess I could add those myself if I really wanted them.
A great item, I recommend it for anyone who wants a practice basket.
