The Soft Magnet Putter is Discraft's most popular disc golf putter. It is uniquely designed for players who love the original magnet putter, but wanted a softer, tackier putter that would "grip" the chains. The plastic is slightly tacky (but not floppy) with enough friction to allow a good firm grip and a solid release. This is also an excellent choice for a short range driver and approach disc.

Ive been playing serious for about three yrs now. And while ill grab my wizard most puts in the circle, my soft magnet is my goto on windy, hillside, or long puts. Love the way it feels and when i use to approach from 50-75 seems like im hitting chains or rimming out more often than missing clean. Again while not my main putter id be lost without this in my bag

I was playing with a friend, and at the time I had a traditional magnet, and he was so persistent on the idea that soft putters are better. So I got a soft magnet. Not my favorite disc. I felt that it was difficult to get behind and make the basket. I struggled through and used this disc for 2 years with poor results. Changed to a better putter, Star Dart, and now my putting is better. I would stay away from this one unless you only want it for ten footers or less.

This is my go to putter when hitting shots of about 50 ft or less. Its really grippy plastic is such a nice feel in the hand. I like to keep 2 of them in my bag just in case. Don't leave home without it.

I started playing DG with this putter and won't leave home without it. I use it for any putts that are about 40ft. out or shorter. It has excellent grip, will hold any line you put it on, and is very flexible so it grabs the chains very well. If your throws are on, this disc is going in the basket.
